    Solitary

One of the places that fear lies is in solitude. It’s scary to be by yourself.

Something about the increase in community has caused us to fear the moments when we are not with other people.

We are good at corporate worship because its not lonesome. Sometimes when we join with other people, we sense this lifted weight. Like, maybe this isn’t as much for me as it is for that guy. Maybe I’m just part of the joyful noise. At least i’m not the only noise.

We need to make worship personal again. It’s in those personal moments with Christ that our hope is set after Him again.

Hey Jordan! I enjoyed reading this post--very thought-provoking. Are you still working at Englewood?
