This has been a great weekend. It began with a great evening with our staff and ended with a beautiful walk with Ellen and Barkley. Spring is springing.
Jordan has been traveling the US and abroad for the last decade as a worship leader. He is honored to have played and written with some of his heroes and thoroughly enjoys serving as worship pastor at Mt. Vernon Church in Columbus, Mississippi. He LOVES his wife Ellen and little girl Madelyn and when not playing music he enjoys running, writing, cooking and traveling. Learn more about Mt. Vernon Church here

Thursday, November 5, 2009 at 9:35PM Interesting how it comes up at the most unexpected times. You can give it's onslaught a welcome embrace but you can't predict it's entrance. Sometimes it hits you like a curveball and sometimes it settles in like a warm coat.
But in spite of it's questions...
It's always always exactly what you need.
Enjoying the memories of a town we used to live in with people we used to walk with.
Anticipating my favorite time of year when memories are made and relived.
A time for giving thanks
A time for thinking about the gospel story
When a husband acts like a son and a grandmother always has the seat of honor.
Saturday, October 10, 2009 at 3:04PM Friday’s are kinda funny.... I reserve them for my wife. When Friday comes around, her name is on it. It should be called wife-day. They are somewhat paradoxical though. We spend a great deal of the day together. Just doing whatever. But even with the freedom that we hold in charting the course for the day, we click back into some invisible pre-defined mold. As though we are on some cyclical amusement ride of a weekly schedule. And that’s okay. We have habits and routines that we like to follow and we are comfortable with that.
